About Charles Craig
A seasoned jazz pianist from the Carolinas, Charles "JP" Craig's career began in Chicago where he was mentored by Ramsey Lewis. He went on to study at Berklee College of Music and served as a Jazz at Lincoln Center Consultant. Throughout the 1990s, Craig toured extensively with the Roy Hargrove Quintet, recorded with Christian McBride, and performed with Arturo Sandoval's band. He has shared the stage with a long list of influential musicians, including Joe Henderson, Johnny Griffin, and Stanley Turrentine.
